DURAND AREA HIGH SCHOOL: 43
The Byron Varsity Girls Basketball team lost a tough one to Durand on Tuesday night by a score of 43-36. The Eagles led by two at halftime but could not answer the Durand rally after they hit back to back 3’s in the 4th quarter.
Jessica Marvin led the Eagles with 13 points and 12 rebounds, Ashley Glass added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists, Maylee Hatt had 4 points and 12 rebounds, Raegan Forgie had 5 points and Riley Gadola had 4 points and 3 steals.
The team moves to 11-2 on the season and 5-0 in the GAC Blue. The team will return to action at home this Friday in a GAC Blue match up with Genesee.
