The Byron Girls Varsity Golf team won their first conference match of the year on Tuesday August 23, 2016. The Eagles beat Bendle with a team score of 210 to to 225. Byron was led by senior Jessica Marvin who carded her career best 47 to earn medalist honors. Senior Madison Montgomery fired a 49 and Junior Katie Nixon and Sophomore Alexis DeHart both posted 57 to jump start Byron to a 1-0 record. Bendle was led by Sidney Malin who posted 51 and Lindsay Ferrington who shot 52.

The Eagles next travel to Atlas Valley Country Club on Wednesday August 24th to take on Goodrich.
