Congratulations to the Varsity Football team on their victory last night in their season opening 43-7 win against the Bulldogs of Mesick. It was a tremendous overall team performance for the purple and gold! The line of scrimmage was dominated on both sides of the ball by Sophomores Kolbe McCartney and Greysen Villani, Juniors Brody Hetchler, Sam Adkins, and Senior Evan Ritter whose relentless effort and pursuit harassed the Mesick QB all game. Offensively, Junior QB Jason Lesperance and Sophomore running back Braxton Forgie delivered punishing body blows throughout the duration of the fight. While defensively, Sophomores Jamie Herbst, Jayson Gattica and Junior Charles Hoskins solidified the victory with their discipline, energy and sound fundamentals.
