The Byron Varsity Boys Cross Country team put together an outstanding performance, bringing home a 2nd-place team finish out of 15 schools! The Eagles were led by a huge day from Halston H., who crossed the finish line in 2nd place overall with a time of 18:32.32. Brayden S. wasn't far behind, finishing 4th overall in 18:56.79, giving Byron two runners inside the top four! The strong performances continued throughout the lineup: 🥈 Halston H. — 2nd | 18:32.32 Brayden S. — 4th | 18:56.79 Lucas Q. — 11th | 20:05.39 Jonah S. — 19th | 20:44.74 Aiden G. — 37th | 22:30.08 With all five scoring runners finishing inside the top 40, the Eagles were able to battle their way to an impressive runner-up finish in a 15-team field. A great showing from our Byron runners and another example of the hard work this group continues to put in.
