The 8th grade girls wrapped up their final game together as a full team with an exciting 29-22 victory over rival Durand, finishing the season with an impressive 9-2 record! Sophie S led the way with 13 points and did an amazing job taking care of the ball throughout the entire game. Adriana Z came up with a huge dagger three-pointer in the fourth quarter to put the team up by five, and Mason P followed it up with the nail-in-the-coffin bucket that completely shut down Durand’s momentum. This was truly a complete team win, with girls stepping up and making big plays whenever teammates found themselves in foul trouble. It was a fantastic way to close out an incredible season, and this group should be extremely proud of what they accomplished together!
