Our Varsity Volleyball Team dropped a three-set match to Lakeville on Tuesday night, but the group maintained its energy and continued to compete throughout the evening. The defense produced 28 digs, led by Makenna, Delilah and Claire with six apiece! Sierra and Iris paced the attack with four kills each. Sierra also recorded the Eagles lone block, added four assists, and collected two digs. Haerin directed the offense with a team high, five assists, while adding two kills, four digs and an ace! Makenna supplied Byron’s other ace and Delilah handled a team high 20 serve receive attempts. The Eagles finished with 12 kills and 10 assists, but a high error count prevented them from turning sustained effort into extended scoring runs. As we prepare for the postseason, the focus will be on sharpening those areas.
