The Byron Girls Varsity Basketball team traveled to Class A Brandon on Friday night for a thrilling showdown that ended with the Eagles winning 36-33. It was a hard fought back and forth game and the game came down to the 4th quarter where the Eagles went on a 12-3 run to win the game.
Ashley Glass led the team with 14 point, 7 rebounds and 5 steals. Maylee Hatt added 8 points and 6 rebounds, Greta L’Esperance had 4 points, 6 rebounds and 5 steals, Riley Gadola had 4 points and 5 steals and Jessica Marvin had 4 points and 5 rebounds.
Byron's record is now 2-0 overall and they host Durand on Tuesday 12/6 at 7:00pm.
