The Byron Girls Varsity Basketball team kicked off conference play with a dominating win over Bentley 61-18. The Eagles really opened up the game in the second quarter scoring 24 points to take a 36-10 halftime lead. The girls played great team basketball recording 30 steals and 15 assists.
Jessica Marvin led the way for the Eagles scoring 16 points while also recording 6 steals, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Maylee Hatt added 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists, Ashley Glass added 10 points, 7 steals and 6 rebounds, Raegan Forgie had 6 points and 6 rebounds and Riley Gadola had 5 points and 4 assists.
Byron's record is now 4-0 overall and 1-0 in GAC Blue. The Eagles host New Lothrop on Tuesday December 13 in a non-conference match-up.
