The Byron Varsity Girls Basketball team returned to the court after a long Christmas break against Genesee on Friday Night. The Eagles started off sluggish only leading 23-15 at halftime but soon found their rhythm in route to a 61-31 win.
Leading the way for the Eagles was Ashley Glass who scored 18 points and recorded 6 steals. Maylee Hatt had 13 points and 9 rebounds, Jessica Marvin had 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists and Riley Gadola had 8 points, 6 rebounds 5 steals and 3 assists.
Byron's record is now 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the GAC Blue. Their next game is at Bendle on Tuesday January 10th.
