The Byron Girls Varsity Basketball traveled to Bendle on Wednesday January 11 for a premier matchup showcasing two of the best girls’ basketball teams in the area. It was a hard fought, back and forth game but the Eagles could not come up with the victory falling to Bendle 55-49.
Ashley Glass led the Eagles on offense scoring 20 points and recording 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Maylee Hatt added 18 points and 6 rebounds, Riley Gadola had 5 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists, Madison Montgomery had 3 points and Jessica Marvin recorded 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Byron's record is now 7-1 overall and 2-0 in the GAC Blue. They host Webberville on Friday 1/13.
