The Byron Girls Varsity Basketball team competed against Mt. Morris on Wednesday night in a non-conference match-up. The Eagles started out slow but soon found their rhythm in the second half to win by a score of 59-46.
Riley Gadola had 16 points, 4 assists and 3 steals, Maylee Hatt had 13 points and 6 rebounds, Ashley Glass had 9 points and 3 steals, Jessica Marvin had 8 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists, Raegan Forgie had 7 points and 6 rebounds and Haley Hooley added 6 points and 3 steals.
Byron's record is now 9-1 overall and 3-0 in the GAC Blue. The Eagles travel to Morrice on Friday for a GAC Blue match up.
