The Byron Girls Varsity Basketball team beat Bentley 67-5 on Tuesday night. The Eagles played tough defense recording 27 steals as a team and not allowing Bentley to score off a field goal all night. The Eagles also recorded 20 team assists and everyone on the team scored at least 2 points with 3 girls scoring in double digits.
The Eagles were led by Riley Gadola who had a career high 20 points. She also had 5 steals. Ashley Glass scored 16 points and had 6 assists, 4 steals and 4 rebounds, Maylee Hatt had 10 points and 7 rebounds, Haley Hooley had 8 points, 4 steals and 4 rebounds, Jessica Marvin had 6 points, 6 steals and 6 assists, Madison Montgomery had 5 points and 4 rebounds and Raegan Forgie had 2 points and 5 steals.
Byron's record is now 11-1 overall and 4-0 in the GAC Blue. They return to action next Tuesday (1/31) at Durand.
