The Byron Girls Varsity Basketball Team clinched at least a share of the GAC Blue title with a 60-28 win over Webberville on Friday February 10. This is the Eagles second Girls Basketball conference title in school history and their first since the 1990-91 season when they were still a part of the Mid-State Athletic Conference.
The Eagles were led on offense by Maylee Hatt who scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Jessica Marvin had 13 points and 7 rebounds, Ashley Glass had 12 points, 8 steals and 4 assists, Reagan Forgie had 6 points and 3 steals and Riley Gadola had 5 points and 3 assists.
Byron's record is now 14-2 overall and 7-0 in the GAC Blue. The Eagles travel to New Lothrop Tuesday 2/14.
