The Byron Varsity Volleyball team participated in the Durand Invite on Saturday. The Eagles took 3rd place overall losing to Swartz Creek in the semifinals game. The team went 1-1-1 in pool play before beating Morrice in the first game of bracket play before losing to Swartz Creek.
Rachel Patterson led the team with 20 kills and Payton Beard had 19 kills on the day. Parker Viele added 47 assists and London Whitehead had 29 digs and 9 aces. Maylee Hatt led the team with 7 blocks.
