DURAND AREA HIGH SCHOOL: 30
The Byron JV Girls Basketball team avenged an earlier loss to Durand by beating the Railroaders on their home court 37-30. The Eagles used some tough team defense down the stretch and made some key free throws to seal the win. Alexis Ragone scored 16 points, Alexis DeHart scored 13 points and Lauren Viele added 5 points and grabbed some key rebounds late in the game.
The Eagles improve to 10-2 on the season. They will be back in action next Tuesday 2/7 against Perry at home.
