Varsity Cross Country hosts the Byron Fox and Hound Invite

The Byron XC team hosted their first ever Fox and Hound race. If you are unfamiliar with a Fox and Hound meet, it's pretty unique. We line the varsity runners up with the 7th runner first and the 1st runner last. We then send them off in “waves” with the boys having a 30 second interval between each runner and the ladies having a 20 second interval. This forces the top runner to really have to work to catch up to the 7th place runner. The JV and Middle schools ran normal races and Goodrich was our overall winner for both the boys and girls races.
