Jerry Hall (152) and Keiffer Kennedy (189) represented Byron at the MHSAA Individual Regionals held at Williamston High School on Saturday February 18. Keiffer wrestled hard but lost his first two matches to knock him out of the tournament. Jerry Hall beat his first opponent and then lost to his second opponent forcing him to have to battle his way back to earn a shot at going to states. The Eagles faced some of the best competition in the state as there were multiple state ranked wrestlers in every weight class. The Byron Varsity Wrestling team had a strong showing at the Michigan Lutheran Seminary Invite on Saturday. The team went 3-2 beating Arthur Hill (46-36), Michigan Lutheran Seminary (44-33) and Sandusky (37-36) and losing to Bad Axe (48-30) and Frankenmuth (39-36).   Senior Keiffer Kennedy went 3-0 on the day and earned his 100th career victory!! The Byron Varsity Wrestling team traveled to Webberville to take on Bendle on Wednesday night. The Eagles won by a team score of 51-0.
