The Byron Girls Soccer team kicked off the first round of the MHSAA Districts with a 6-0 win over Corunna on Tuesday May 30. Amay Ciszewski had five goals, Lauren Wolanin had one goal and one assist, and Selma Maseidvag, Abby Glass, Madison Montgomery, Hailee Smith and Riley Gadola each had an assist. Emily Williams made 7 saves in goal.

The Byron Girls Soccer team wrapped up their last regular season game of the year against Dryden on Thursday May 25. The Eagles won 6-0 led by Selma Maseidvag who had two goals and two assists. Lauren Wolanin had two goals, Ashley Glass had two assists, and Abby Glass and Madison Montgomery each had a goal. The Eagles finish their regular season at 13-5-1.

The Byron Girls Soccer team hosted Swartz Creek on Wednesday May 24th. The Lady Eagles played well but ended up losing 5-1. Hunter Luke scored the only goal for the Eagles on an assist by Quinn Soerries. Byron is 12-5-1 on the season.

The Byron Girls Varsity Soccer team earned a 3rd place finish in the GAC Soccer Tournament held at Goodrich High School on Saturday May 20th. The Eagles started the day off with a 6-2 win over Corunna led by Amay Ciszewski and Hunter Luke who each had three goals apiece. In game two of the tournament the Eagles lost 3-0 to a tough Lake Fenton team to put them into the consolation championship. In the final game of the day the Eagles pulled the upset and beat Goodrich 1-0 behind Amay Ciszewski’s goal for the school’s first ever soccer win over Goodrich.

The Byron Girls Varsity Soccer team wrapped up their conference season with an 8-0 win over Durand on Wednesday May 17th. Abby Glass scored three goals and had one assist, Selma Maseidvag had two goals and two assists, Amay Ciszewski had two goals, Riley Gadola had one goal and Madison Montgomery, Jordan Goodrich and Ashley Glass each had an assist. Emily Williams made five save in goal for Byron. The Eagles record now stands at 10-3-1 and 3-3 in the conference.

The Byron Girls Varsity Soccer team suffered a tough loss on Monday May 15 losing to Lake Fenton 7-1. Amay Ciszewski scored the lone goal for the Eagles of an assist for Selma Maseidvag. The loss puts them at 9-3-1 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

The Byron Varsity Girls Soccer team earned a tough non-conference win over Genesee Christian on Thursday May 11th. The Eagles took a 0-0 tie into halftime before tacking on three goals in the second half to win 3-1. Amay Ciszewski had two goals, Selma Maseidvag had one goal and Ashley Glass had three assists. Abby Glass gave up one goal and had ten saves. The Lady Eagles are now 9-2-1 on the season.

The Eagles record now stands at 8-2-1.

The Byron Girls Varsity Soccer team lost a tough contest to Goodrich 4-1 on Tuesday May 2. It was a very tough, physical game on a cold and rainy night in Byron. Amay Ciszewski scored the only goal for the Eagles off an assist from Abigail Hooley and Emily Williams had 10 saves in goal for Byron. The Eagles record is now 6-2 overall and 2-2 in the conference.

The Byron Girls Varsity Soccer team earned another conference win beating Mt. Morris 8-0 on Thursday April 27.
Amay Ciszewski led the team with 3 goals, Lauren Wolanin had three assists and Kaela Funk, Madison Montgomery, Robin Howard, Cassidy Jankowski and Selma Maseidvag each had a goal. Ashley Glass and Abigail Hooley each had an assist as well.
The Lady Eagles move to 6-1 on the season and 2-1 in the conference.

The Byron Girls Varsity Soccer team lost their first game of the season on Tuesday April 25 to Montrose. The Eagles trailed 2-0 at halftime but could only muster one goal in the 2nd half to fall 5-1. Abby Glass scored the only goal for the Eagles on an assist from Lauren Wolanin. Abby also had 12 saves but allowed 5 goals and Emily Williams had 5 saves and allowed zero goals. Their record now stands at 5-1 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

The Byron Girls Varsity Soccer team hosted Bath under the lights on Friday April 21. The Lady Eagles played a tough game taking a 1-0 lead into halftime before pulling away to win 4-1.
Selma Maseadvag and Amay Ciszewski each had one goal and one assist apiece to lead the Eagles. Madison Montgomery chipped in a late goal and Abby Glass had 13 saves in goal for Byron.

The Byron Girls Varsity Soccer team kicked off conference play with a strong win over Corunna on Tuesday April 18. The girls took a 2-0 lead into halftime before winning 6-2 moving their record to 4-0 on the season.
Amay Ciszewski had one goal and recorded three assists to lead the Lady Eagles. Emily Williams recorded two goals, Selma Maseadvag had one goal and one assist and Hunter Luke and Hailee Smith each had one goal. Abby Glass made 10 saves in goal.

The Byron Girls Varsity Soccer team beat Lakeville 8-0 at home on Wednesday April 12. The Eagles raced out to an early 6-0 lead at halftime before scoring two goals with about 20 minutes left in the game.
Selma Maseidvag had a huge game for the Eagles scoring four goals with one assist. Abby Glass scored two goals, Riley Gadola had one goal and one assist and Amay Ciszewski, Madison Montgomery and Hailee Smith each had an assist.

The Girls Varsity Soccer team moved to 2-0 on the season beating Carman-Ainsworth 5-0 on Wednesday.
Amay Ciszewski once again led the way for the Eagles scoring 2 goals with 1 assist. Hailee Smith had 1 goal and 1 assist, Emily Williams and Lauren Wolanin each scored a goal and Hunter Luke recorded one assist. Abby Glass recorded 2 saves.
The Eagles are off for spring break and return on 4/12 with a home game against Lakeville.
