Girls Varsity Gymnastics @ MHSAA Regionals

The Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics team competed at the MHSAA Gymnastics Regionals at Grand Ledge High School on Saturday March 3rd and 4th. The team finished 6th overall and Dani Wolanin earned 2nd place in both the Bars and Beam and placed 5th in the All Around. She will compete in the All-Around at the MHSAA State Finals this Saturday March 11th at Canton Plymouth High School.

The Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics team competed in the Capital Area Athletic Conference (CAAC) League Meet on Saturday. The team had a great day and finished just 0.8 points out of first behind Grand Ledge! Dani Wolanin came in 2nd on Bars, 4th on Vault, 6th on Floor and is 1st in the League on Balance Beam. She also won the All-Around competition and is the 2017 CAAC League All-Around Champion!

The Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics team earned a hard fought win over St. Johns/DeWitt last night at the Wilson Center. The girls posted a win by over 13 points. The team now looks ahead to the CAAC League Meet on February 18th.

The Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics team hosted their last home meet of the season last night against Mason. The team came out with an impressive win with Dani Wolanin earning a meet high score on the beam and Quinn Soerries adding a solid floor routine.

The Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics team fell to Grand Ledge last night. This is the team's first conference loss of the season. The team had a rough night but they are looking forward to the Jeanne Carusso Invitational at Lakeland High School on Saturday!

The Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics team competed in the Holt Invitational on Saturday. The team finished in 4th place out of a field of 15 teams. Quinn Soerries earned her final Regional qualifying score on the beam and Dani Wolanin finished 1st on beam, 3rd on floor and 4th in the all-around!!

The Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics team took on Haslett/Williamston/Bath last night at home and came out with an another impressive CAAC win. Quinn Soerries and Dani Wolanin both competed in all-around competition with Dani earning an impressive 8.925 on bars! The team heads to the Holt Invitation this weekend.

The Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics competed at the Haslett/Williamston/Bath Invitational on Saturday and took home 2nd place out of a field of 10 teams. Dani Wolanin took 2nd in the all-around and earned another personal best on bars and Quinn Soerries secured her spot in the Regional vault competition.

The Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics team posted a HUGE win over the Holt Rams on Wednesday January 11. Both Dani Wolanin and Quinn Soerries competed in the all-around. Quinn had an amazing floor routine and Dani posted her personal best on Bars, Floor, and the All-Around. The team heads to the Haslett Invitational on Saturday.

The Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics put on a strong showing at the East Lansing Invite on Saturday January 7 taking 1st place out of 10 schools. A total of 123 gymnasts competed in the event with Dani Wolanin and Quinn Soerries representing Byron. Dani earned a gold medal for her floor routine and finished 8th in the all-around and Quinn had a strong day pulling more regional qualifying scores!

Quinn Soerries added 3 more Regional qualifying scores and Dani Wolanin secured her place in the Regional all around!!! The team heads to the East Lansing Invitational on Saturday.

The Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics team competed at the Polar Bear Invitational in Jackson on Saturday. The team took 2nd place overall out of 5 teams. Dani Wolanin once again made the podium with a 2nd all around medal that included a 1st place on Balance Beam! Quinn Soerries also made a great showing, earning 2 more Regional qualifying scores.

The Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics team hosted the Grinch Invitational on Friday December 9th at Livingston County Gymnastics. A total of 61 gymnasts competed during the event. Dani Wolanin had a career best with a 35.65 all-around score to clinch 1st place overall and qualify for Regionals in four events!! Quinn Soerries also had a great day qualifying for Regionals in two events!!

The Fowleville-Byron Gymnastics team kicked off their second season as a team at the Judge's Cup. 48 high school gymnasts from all across the state, including Dani Wolanin and Quinn Soerries representing Fowlerville-Byron Gymnastics, competed during the season opening Judge’s Cup Meet. Quinn made her team debut after coming back from an injury and competed in all 4 events. Dani earned a career high 8.7 on bars clinching 1st place for that event and also placed 3rd in the all-around competition which combines scores on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. It was a great start to the season and all the gymnasts got valuable feedback from the four judges!!
